The Boston-to-Miami corridor
Boston to Miami is one of the most popular long-distance routes in the country — and one we run regularly. At 1,500 miles, this is a multi-day move that takes our truck through 12 states along I-95 South. We know every stretch of this highway, every toll plaza, and every rest stop between Lynn and South Florida.
What this move involves
A Boston-to-Miami move is a full interstate relocation under FMCSA regulations. Our crew picks up at your North Shore home, loads everything onto our truck, and drives the I-95 corridor to Florida. Delivery typically takes 3-5 business days depending on load size and building access at the destination.
All tolls along the route — Connecticut turnpike, New Jersey Turnpike, Delaware Memorial Bridge, and Florida tolls — are included in your flat-rate quote. We do not add them as a line item at delivery.
Miami-specific logistics
Moving into Miami adds considerations that northern moves do not have. Many Miami and Miami Beach condominiums require Certificates of Insurance, elevator reservations, and specific delivery windows. Some buildings restrict moves to weekdays during business hours. We coordinate every requirement before the truck leaves Massachusetts.
Climate is another factor. Miami heat and humidity can affect sensitive items during unloading. We schedule deliveries for morning hours when possible and advise on packing strategies for heat-sensitive belongings.
